main page.

SaveYourMoney App - This application is a simple program for your Android device
that reminds you to re-consider purchases or at least to shop around more.  It is
especially useful for people who find themselves buying items they never or rarely end
up using or who often find they paid too much for what they bought.  We charge only
$.99 for the App on the Android App store, but this could save you many hundreds of
dollars over a lifetime of usage.

Features include the following:

Reminders of ways to possibly save money.
Reminders that you may not need the purchase.
Future Cost - Simple Calc will show you how much future dollars your purchase might
cost you!
Email savings - If you save money by shopping around or not buying a product you
can send an email to a friend, spouse, etc. to tell them how much you saved and prove
you are serious!

Recommended usage:
If you find yourself at a department store, electronics store, sporting goods store, or
whatever and you have pulled something off the shelf that you are planning to buy -
please pull out your cell phone and open the SaveYourMoney app - enter some
details about your purchase - read the reminders - check how much Future Money this
purchase might cost you and then reconsider your purchase!

You might want to shop around more, wait for a sale, or even drop buying the product
entirely.  Then, you can easily use the SaveYourMoney app to send an email to your
spouse, to a friend, or to whoever telling them how much money you saved when in
the past you would have just bought the product that maybe you didn't need, or you
didn't realize was available cheaper elsewhere!

SaveYourMoney App Note:

Many applications to attempt to help people with their finances are either expense
trackers and/or some program to help you find better deals/prices.  I have found that
programs like these can be useful, but rarely help some people to save money!

If a person buys an expense tracker, they are often all excited to use it - so they go out
and spend money in several different categories just to fill them in!  That is not the
right idea people!  You are supposed to try and save money!

Also, software that can find 'deals' for you will often get you to purchase something
you really didn't need - just at a better price.  It's better to pay $0 for nothing however,
then to pay $70 instead of $100 for something you didn't need.

The goal of the SaveYourMoney App is to convince a person to consider walking away
from a purchase - at the very least - comparison shop and get it cheaper later, but
maybe to even admit they don't really need it and save 100% of the money!
